An elderly man is dead following a house fire in the Antigonish area.
Antigonish District RCMP say the fire started at a home on Glenda Crescent in North Grant, N.S. around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Few details have been released, but police say neighbours reported the blaze, which claimed the life of a 76-year-old man.
The RCMP is working with the fire marshal’s office and medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of the fire.
The victim’s name has not been released.
