Codiac RCMP have arrested a suspect in an armed robbery at a Moncton bank.

Troy Faye was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Monday morning.

The 32-year-old faces charges of armed robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation.

The arrest follows an armed robbery at the Scotiabank on St. George Street on Tuesday. Police say a man entered the bank with a weapon and demanded money from the tellers. The suspect then fled on foot with cash.
