Police say a 48-year-old man who tried to fight back during a robbery just off Herring Cove Road early Sunday morning was sent to hospital with stab wounds.
Halifax Regional Police say the robbery happened around 12:20 a.m. in a home on the first block of Old Sambro Road.
Police say three men with their faces covered entered the home and tried to rob the three men inside.
They say the victim was involved in a struggle with the suspects and was stabbed several times.
The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police did not provide a description of the suspects or say whether they’re in custody.
