SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- Police in New Brunswick are investigating the alleged armed robbery of a cab driver in Saint John.

They say two men got into a cab at 3:30 a.m. around Clarendon Street in the city's north end.

They say the men had a weapon and demanded money from the driver.

Police describe the men as being in their early 20s and clean shaven, with one wearing a dark jacket.

The men allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money.

They say the driver was not injured.
