Codiac Regional RCMP are asking for the public's help in identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery at a gas station.

Police say the robbery happened on Saturday at approximately 7:00 a.m. at the Esso gas station on Elmwood Drive in Moncton.

They say a man holding a knife entered the gas station and demanded money from an employee. The suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man and spoke English with an accent. He was wearing a black hoodie, t-shirt and blue jeans.
