The New Brunswick RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of an ATV involved in a collision that left a man seriously injured.

Police say the incident happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on the Ennishone Road in Drummond Local Service District.

Police say the ATV was speeding down the road and passed a pickup truck, causing the driver of the truck to lose control and leave the road.

The driver of the ATV failed to stop at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 47-year-old man from Drummond Local Service District, was taken to the Grand Falls General Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

A witness told police the driver of the ATV was a young man wearing a black, full-face helmet and black jacket. The ATV is described as a green four-wheeler.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
