Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax man.

David Allen Doucette was last seen in Halifax on Jan. 25 and was in contact with friends online on Jan. 28. The 44-year-old was reported missing to police on Jan. 29.

Police say there is no information to suggest that Doucette has met with foul play, but they are concerned for his well-being.

Doucette is described as a white man with a bald head and a goatee. He is six-feet-tall and weighs 280 pounds. He is believed to be driving a 2007 green Jeep Compass with Nova Scotia licence plate EJT 635.

Police say Doucette has connections to the Annapolis Valley.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
