Halifax Regional Police say they are looking for a certain vehicle as they continue to investigate the murder of 20-year-old Joseph Cameron in Dartmouth.
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Spring Avenue and Mount Edward Road around 5:20 a.m. on March 29.
When officers arrived, they found Cameron dead on the sidewalk. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Now, police are asking anyone who may have seen a dark blue 2012 Kia Rondo in the area of Spring Avenue and Mount Edward Road between midnight and 5:20 a.m. on March 29 to contact them.
Cameron’s death has been added to the Nova Scotia Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.
Police have said Cameron was not known to them, but they don’t believe his death was a random incident.
