Two youths were taken into custody after a loaded handgun and a quantity of marijuana was seized from their vehicle in Bedford Sunday afternoon.
Halifax Regional Police say they received a call around 4:15 p.m. of two people in possession of a handgun in their vehicle near the BMO Centre.
Officers found the vehicle on Joseph Howe Drive and conducted a “high-risk takedown.”
Police say the youths will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday.
