Two teens are facing charges after a third teen was stabbed in Digby, N.S. Monday evening.
RCMP and paramedics responded to Water Street around 6:30 p.m.
Investigators allege a 17-year-old male from Digby was stabbed in the side by an 18-year-old male.
Police say the victim was taken to the Digby General Hospital and then transferred to hospital in Yarmouth. His injuries are not life-threatening.
An 18-year-old male was arrested a short distance from the scene without incident. A second suspect, a 17-year-old male, was arrested early Tuesday without incident. They remain in custody.
Police say the teens, both from Digby, are facing charges of assault with a weapon. They are due to appear in Digby provincial court Tuesday morning.
Investigators say the stabbing was not a random act as the teens are known to one another
