The death of a man whose body was found inside a south-end Halifax home has been ruled a homicide.

Police responded to the 5200 block of South Street before 11 p.m. Sunday after a 65-year-old man was found dead inside his residence.

Sources tell CTV News tenants found the man in a common kitchen area.

Police say an autopsy has been conducted and the man’s death has now been ruled a homicide, although investigators haven’t said how the man died.

The victim’s name has not been released.
