A home in Cole Harbour, N.S. has been destroyed by fire.
Fire crews were called to the home on Taranaki Drive around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Seven people managed to escape safely, but the family's pet cat died in the fire.
Investigators are now trying to pinpoint the cause of fire, although they say it doesn't appear to be suspicious.
