Halifax police are investigating a report of shots fired Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to the area of Barrington and Cornwallis streets just before 3 p.m.
They say witnesses heard what sounded like multiple shots being fired in the area.
“At this time, there are no reported injuries and investigators are on scene attempting to determine what took place,” said Const. Pierre Bourdages in a statement.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
