Halifax Regional Police are at the scene of a suspicious death in the city's north end.
Police responded to a report of a sudden death around 12:17 p.m. at a home on Bilby Street.
A friend had gone to the 5529 Bilby Street residence to check on the homeowner and found a deceased person.
Police are investigating and until the cause of death is determined, it will be treated as suspicious.
A previous police report mistakenly identified the address as 5527
