Halifax District RCMP are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate the murders of Earle Stewart and Matthew Hebb.

The remains of 59-year-old Stewart and 22-year-old Hebb of Herring Cove Road were found on Dec. 12, 2012, after emergency personnel responded to a structure fire off Highway 374 near Sheer Harbour.

“The community plays a critical role in solving crimes and we need their help with this case,” says Const. Jody Allison of the Homicide Unit. “Any piece of information could prove useful to investigators.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact any RCMP office, Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
