Josh Smith
Josh Smith is a multi-media journalist and commercial producer with CTV Atlantic based out of south-eastern New Brunswick.
Born in Amherst and raised in Summerside, P.E.I., Josh received a diploma in Radio and Television Arts from the Nova Scotia Community College in 2007.
Josh spent the next six years shooting, editing, and producing videos for marketing agencies in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
In 2013, Josh joined the CTV Atlantic team based out of Sydney, N.S., working as a commercial producer and also as a camera operator for Mass For Shut-Ins.
Josh transferred to CTV Atlantic’s Moncton bureau in 2019, where he continues to work as a commercial producer and a multi-media journalist.
Throughout his career in television, Josh has covered major news events like the Thanksgiving Day flooding in 2016, hurricanes Dorian and Fiona, and federal and provincial elections.
Josh speaks English.
