MONTAGUE GOLD MINES, NS -- A quiet neighbourhood just outside of Dartmouth has been busy with forensic activity after a man's body was discovered this weekend.

Officers were still on the scene at Montague Road on Sunday night. Investigators are now calling the suspicious death, a homicide. They've been attending the scene since early Saturday morning after the body of 58-year old Paul Livingstone was found in his own home by a relative.

An autopsy was performed today and it has been determined that Livingstone was killed from a gunshot.

Cpl. Scott MacRae with the Halifax District RCMP says, "Our investigators are working hard to hopefully put together what happened leading up to the tragic circumstances."

Police say the shooting wasn't random and they are asking for those with information to contact them.
