HALIFAX -- Dozens of protesters camped outside Halifax City Hall are cleaning up the site in preparation for a temporary relocation.
A spokesman for the Occupy Nova Scotia movement says he expects all of the protesters -- about 60 in all -- to move their tents to nearby Victoria Park by Tuesday to make room for the city's annual Remembrance Day ceremonies.
The city's main cenotaph is part of the Grand Parade, the public square in front of city hall.
The protesters say they will be back on Nov. 12.
Mayor Peter Kelly says he's glad the protesters are temporarily vacating the square, but he has been vague about what will happen when they return.
In Vancouver, Mayor Gregor Robertson says the Occupy Vancouver camp must be shut down following the death Saturday of a woman who was found unresponsive in a tent at the site in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
