Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a patient reported missing from the Nova Scotia Hospital.

Jenna Davidson, 21, left the hospital in Dartmouth last Thursday and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Officials with the Capital District Health Authority say there are concerns for Davidson’s well-being because she requires medication.

“There is a current search underway,” says Capital Health spokesman Everett McLean. “Halifax Regional Police, as well as our own mobile crisis unit are engaged in the search for this person at this time.”

Davidson is described as having a large build and long, dark hair, which she usually wears in a ponytail.

Capital Health says she may become a danger to herself if she isn’t found soon.
