Halifax Regional Police are deeming the death of a 64-year-old Dartmouth man not suspicious.
Police responded to a call of a sudden death in the 100 block of Pinecrest Drive around 10:50 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers located the body of a man at the scene.
“At this time, based on initial evidence located at the scene, police are treating the death as suspicious in nature,” said police in a statement on Sunday.
But after further investigation, police said in a release Monday that the death is not believed to be of suspicious nature.
Police say the investigation into the nature of the death is continuing.
