A 43-year-old man is in police custody after a string of robberies around Halifax early Saturday morning.
Police say, between midnight and 3:30 a.m., three Subways, an Ultramar service station and a McDonald’s were robbed by the same suspect.
Investigators say only two of the businesses handed over cash.
No weapons were seen and no one was hurt.
Police arrested the 43-year-old on Chebucto Road.
The suspect is facing robbery and attempted robbery charges.
