Some outages were also reported in Nova Scotia, but most have been resolved.

Meanwhile, snowfall and rainfall warnings remain in effect for virtually all of New Brunswick, with up to 20 centimetres of snow in the forecast for northern and western New Brunswick.

The Fredericton and Bathurst regions can expect rain to change to snow, except for easternmost areas of the Bathurst region where it may remain as rain.

Elsewhere, snow is expected to continue today and ease overnight.
