Four men have been arrested in connection with an alleged kidnapping in Nova Scotia.

Police responded to a report that an 18-year-old man had been kidnapped at gunpoint in the Elmsdale area around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. Officers located the alleged victim on a private road in Lantz.

Shortly after, officers located a suspect vehicle in a Lantz subdivision and arrested the four occupants.

The men were brought in for questioning and police say a kidnapping did take place. However, police say no weapons were involved and the victim wasn’t injured. They also say the victim isn't willing to testify against the suspects.

Investigators say the incident was not a random act and remains under investigation. There is no word on charges at this time.
