BADDECK, N.S. -- RCMP in Cape Breton say a 45-year-old man faces charges in connection with a fatal crash in August 2014.
Victor William Rhyno, of Middle River, faces charges of impaired driving causing death and impaired driving causing bodily harm.
Police say officers from Ingonish Beach, Inverness, Baddeck and Cheticamp responded to a single vehicle crash last Aug. 1 on Highland Road.
Fifty-nine-year-old Malcolm Angus Fraser of Middle River, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mounties say Rhyno is scheduled to appear in court in Ingonish on March 26.
