A New Brunswick man who threatened to kill police officers has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.

The RCMP responded to a complaint that a man was threatening to kill police officers on Dec. 22. They arrested a suspect in his home on Route 135 in Hacheyville.

Police say Paul Robichaud pleaded guilty to uttering threats to kill police officers in provincial court on Thursday.

The 67-year-old Hacheyville man has been sentenced to 30 days in jail followed by 18 months of probation.
