The RCMP are investigating after a man was attacked in a parking lot in Louisdale, N.S.
Police and emergency crews responded to the scene at the intersection of Highway 320 and Whiteside Road around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say a 51-year-old Arichat man had been assaulted in a parking lot and walked to a nearby home for help.
The man was taken to the Strait Richmond Regional Hospital with serious injuries and later airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.
Police are asking anyone with information about the assault, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area at the time, to contact them.
