A Nor'easter dumped snow, ice and rain across the Maritimes on Sunday. It's also caused several closures and cancellations.

In Halifax, police are encouraging residents to stay home unless they absolutely need to go out. Road conditions have caused several vehicles to become stuck

Police are also reminding motorists to clear snow and ice from all windows and mirrors before going anywhere and to be mindful of changing road conditions.

Halifax Shoping Centre is closed for the day.

Mic Mac mall is closed for the day.

Dalhousie University and all affiliated buildings in Halifax are closed as is the agriculture campus in Truro.

Mount Saint Vincent University is closed all day.

Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) is closed today.

Saint Mary's University campus is closed all day.

The Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design is closed and all classes are cancelled.

The Halifax Seaport Farmer's Market is closed.
