Jesse Huot
CTV Atlantic’s Jesse Huot is a web writer based out of Halifax.
Born and raised in Halifax, Jesse still has close ties to his home community of Fairview.
Jesse graduated from the Radio Television Journalism program at the Nova Scotia Community College, where he honed his passion for storytelling.
As part of his schooling, Jesse completed an internship with Global News in Halifax and CTV Atlantic.
In 2023, Jesse officially joined the CTV Atlantic team as a web writer. Within that role, Jesse publishes photo, video, and written content on CTV Atlantic’s digital and social media platforms.
Jesse is a generalist, with a special interest in writing about sports. A life-long athlete, Jesse grew up playing hockey and baseball, as well as spending the winter months perfecting his snowboarding skills on the hill.
Jesse speaks English.
